Brenna Cole
Student Veterinary Nurse
I am a student veterinary nurse, set out to gain further knowledge on animal welfare and help animals in any way that I can. I am very friendly, bubbly and approachable and have a passion for helping all types of animals. My favourite animals are exotic animals such as snakes and lizards but I also love cats. I have a passion for animal behaviour as my future career goal is to become a cat or dog behaviourist, learning about the body language and communication displayed by animals and how certain cues can mean so much more than what's on the surface.
During work hours my favourite task is performing nurse checks on the inpatients and sitting with them so they can feel comfort, more relaxed and calmer while spending time at the vets. Before starting my job, I had undergone studies at an animal management college. I aimed for high grades to better my career opportunities and have the option to work with animals. As a child I always had animals around me and loved them dearly which helped me set my goals for the future, since pet care is my love in life.
Outside of work I spends most days with my animals at home, tending to my reptiles and rabbits. Other hobbies include tending to indoor tropical plants and painting animals. I love walking in the woods, with my art utensils and drawing animals in watercolour - these appear in fantasy form or realism. I enjoying sourcing ideas from the landscape around me.
